Visiting Scopello and nature reserve Lo Zingaro

When you are in Sicily, be sure to visit Scopello, a picturesque town near Castellammare del Golfo in the province of Trapani. Scopello has a quiant baglio with various bars and restaurants and a bakery where you can buy delicious pani cunzatu (a typical local, Sicilian bread, topped with tomato, onion, olives, anchovies and spices).

Classic car tours are regularly organized in the region, so the town of Scopello is often visited by many classic automobiles.

We organize boat trips for our guests through diving center Cetaria. Admire Scopello, the tonnara, the faraglioni (typical rockery in the sea) and the nature reserve Lo Zingaro from the water. You can also get a sea baptism (your first dive in not too deep water with an English speaking instructor) at the tonnara .

Nature reserve Lo Zingaro (Riserva naturale orientata dello Zingaro) is located near Scopello. Lo ZIngaro is a beautiful area with breathtaking sea views (Golfo di Castellammare). There are also several bays with “hidden beaches”, so you can combine a walk with a wonderful dip in the clear water of the azure blue sea!
